Selfljót, 2021etching 35 x 38 cm 13 3 4 x 15 in edition of 25 + 1 AP framed Andreas Eriksson is known for his subtly textured depictions of the natural world, hovering between abstraction and figuration, drawing the viewer into a rich conceptual investigation of nature. With this work, Eriksson nods to Icelandic artist Jhannes Kjarval, an inspiration for Eriksson, who resided in the rural surroundings of Selfljt, Iceland.
