1916 Karess Woodworth Antique Silver Powder CompactThis is a wonderful vintage 1916 silver tone guilloche and blue enamel trim Karess Woodworth powder and mirror compact. It's in great condition, with some very light wear. No serious damage. It actually looks better than the photos show. The piece has a pretty Greek key blue enamel trim around the top edges of the lid. The compact comes with the original powder plate with only traces of the original powder remaining. Here's an extremely rare and stunning pair of LeMaire Fi Paris late 1800's opera glasses

and is a stunning bag that would be great for those special occasions or night out on the town

It opens to a dial sifter powder compartment on one side

The lid is adorned with one large central amethyst stone

There are two small turquoise stones that are used to open each of the powder and rouge compartments that are inside the purse

The purse measures approximately 4 1/4 inches across

The shoulder chain is very intricate

The case also has an intricate repousse with a blue enamel fill on all the edges of the case on all four sides

but is still a lovely rare old tin
