2012 Sobrero Barolo Pernanno Riserva DOCG (WE 90, WS93)Description Specs The Pernanno vineyards produce some of the finest Nebbiolo in the commune. These vines were planted in 1946 facing south southwest. 2012 was a fantastic vintage for Commune Castiglione Falletto and especially this grand Barolo. Make no mistake; this is a big wine. Aromas of anise, mushrooms, leather, and wild berries give way to a carrier landing on the palate with big fruit, a dense velvety mouthfeel, and a long finish. Enjoy 2019

Emmanuelle crafted this Provence Rouge from estate grown Counoise (45%) and Syrah (55%) from 32-year-old vines

and dried for approximately one month prior to crush

The wine shows brightly intense deep ruby color with red garnet reflections around the rim
