and notation to the side “ Mr and Mrs Noah and their Ark" has areas for storage of the animals with space above for the ark
fluted and cast foliate decoration
Finish: Good antique condition - one spindle broken as seen
A beautiful decorative item - unsure of rules
and with real horse hair tail
stylised acanthus leaf decoration on cylindrical columns and spreading circular bases with square fluted feet
Condition: Some chips and nicks consistent with age
Dimensions: 55cm W 84cm H D
inside is a stepped divided and plush lined interior with a glass box and cover and a scent bottle with a stopper
The box is attributed to Junod Freres of L’Auberson
