MilkyMoon - Dragonfly

MilkyMoon - DragonflyMilkyMoon is a single ply, fingering weight, 90% merino wool and 10 % Linen, Yarn. Our yarn names were inspired by the Karoo. Having the 10% Linen in the yarn gives a lovely textured rustic look as is our beautiful Karoo. The Linen does not take on the dye as evenly as the merino wool resulting in a delightful highlighting effect. Sometimes the linen is also a little thicker in places so this gives the textured look. This yarn can be used for knitting

Having the 10% Linen in the yarn gives a lovely textured rustic look - as is our beautiful Karoo

All our yarns are made in small batches and dyed by hand

This specialised treatment ensures that these yarns can be washed on a wool cycle in the washing machine

the same as our FirstMoon and miniMoons giving you the ability to matched up with some plain colours to create a once off unique garment
