This is the 7th rod Jeff built in 1998 according to the 1198 7 serial number on the butt section. The flaming on this rod is one of the most striking examples I've ever seen. The rod is very richly flamed everywhere except around the "golden nodes". When combined with the three up node spacing, this makes for quite the visual effect (see photos!) The
