This example's neck has been shaved to true 59 spec shape, changed pickups (Lollar and Throbak) and changed tuners. The pickups ohm out nicely at 7. 93k (bridge) and 7. 02 (neck). Serial number is A 97018, decoded as: (A or B) MYRRR M is the model year being reissued Y is the production year, 9 with an A prefix = 1959 ES 335 (dot inlays) (1997) RRR indicates the guitars
