Early Victorian Bimetal Guard ChainAn unusual silver guard chain dating from the mid 19th century, circa 1850. Each of the fancy links comprises a navette shaped silver frame with a rose gold centre and loop of milled silver wire. With its length of 56 inches and the large bolt ring clasp, it's long enough to be worn tripled up. French import marks warrant the silver.
